Bunn Flowers & Gifts, formerly Don Reynolds Flowers & Gifts, is a family-owned business that has been in operation in Pittsburg, Texas since 1920.  We are located at 226 Rusk Street.  We stock the largest array of fresh and silk flowers, as well as plants and gifts in East Texas.  We have over 10,000 square feet of floral and gift items and are one of the largest florists in Texas.  We use only AAA quality flowers in our arrangements, which are the very best!.  Because we do this, your arrangements will always look nicer and will last longer than arrangements from other area florists.  No other florist in our area can make this claim.

Bunn Flowers & Gifts History

Madeline Smith Albright started florist in 1920. She called it Pittsburg Greenhouse. Don Reynolds, a future owner, started work there.

Callie Mae Abernathy later bought Pittsburg Greenhouse from Madeline Smith Albright.

Don Reynolds then worked for Mrs. Abernathy and bought a partnership with Abernathy around 1959.

In 1969, Don Reynolds bought Mrs. Abernathy out. He then changed the name of the store to Don Reynolds Flowers & Gifts.

Lisa and Joe Hefner bought florist from Don Reynolds 2001. They had it for 17 months and changed the name of the florist to Henfner’s Don Reynolds Flowers & Gifts.

May 1, 2002 William & Rebekah Bunn bought florist from Lisa and Joe Hefner.

May 1, 2010, William Bunn decided it was time to move the florist to a new location to expand its business opportunities.  He purchased his new location from David Hoover and the business was moved to 226 Rusk Street in Pittsburg, opening May 1, 2010, exactly eight years from the date he and his wife had purchased the florist.  The new location features over 10,000 square feet of floral and gift items as well as having the largest private parking lot in Pittsburg.  Anyone that has been to Pittsburg knows parking is a premium commodity in Pittsburg.  The Bunn's grew the florist five times its original size in this one move.

July 2010, William & Rebekah Bunn changed the florist name to Bunn Flowers & Gifts to better reflect their involvement in the community and their ownership of the business.  The Bunn's have owned the florist eight years, as of May 1, 2010.  They are involved in charitable work in the community, sponsorship of many community organizations and involvement with those community organizations.

We've moved our store just down the street to 226 Rusk Street.  Our new building is next to City Hall and Hoover's Jewelry/Cavenders.  Our new building features over "10,000 square feet" of floral and gift items for our customers with a large private parking lot!  We have expanded our current product lines as well as have added many more new products to our store selections.  We are now one of the largest florists in Texas, if not the United States, and we welcome you to visit with us for all of your floral and gift giving needs.  We carry only the best flowers, "AAA Quality."  We are the only florist that has been serving Pittsburg and the surrounding area's since 1920.  We have been voted Best Florist in the area 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007.....  Don't believe the false hype of some other area florists and their false publications on experience or awards on Teleflora websites or publications. TRUST the only florist in the area that has been TRUSTED since 1920!

Our florist and gift store is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.  If you would like to take a tour of our store, please visit our Facebook page at Bunn Flowers in Pittsburg, TX.  Please do a friend request so we can notify you of upcoming specials and extra ordinary flowers that we have had flown in from all over the world.  Our phones are answered after hours and you can order 24/7 online on this secure website.  We are the recommended florist of choice for area funeral homes.

We are normally closed on Sundays, but we do sometimes work on Sundays and holidays in the event of funerals or weddings that are scheduled during these times.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 2 days prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day and Labor Day, so always remember to order early!!!

A local delivery fee of $7.00 will be added to each order, for each address in Pittsburg, TX. (For rural deliveries or deliveries outside our local delivery area of Pittsburg, this fee may vary.  Please call if you need an exact price.)

U.S. orders must be received before 2 PM in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery, locally.  Out of town orders may have to be delivered the following day, depending on our delivery load for the day.  Orders received after 2 PM will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.  Deliveries needed for specific times and locations may incur an extra delivery fee, due to our delivery trucks having to be rerouted for the special delivery.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day, unless we are already working on a funeral for that day and will then deliver to the area funeral home.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.  You must have the a complete name, address, phone number/cell phone number for a rural delivery, to ensure proper delivery.  Cemetery deliveries must have specific directions to the grave for delivery.  In most cases we experience little trouble in locating a grave, but if directions are not specific you will be charged an extra delivery fee for the time spent at the cemetary in locating a grave or attempting to locate the grave.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may have to substitute with another color due to flower availability.  We carry one of the largest fresh flower supplies, on a daily basis, in North East Texas, but it is impossible to carry all of the flowers that can go into Teleflora or FTD arrangements on their websites that you may choose from.  Similar flower subsititutions may have to occur in some cases.
